Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a CMM Programmer to support one of our clients in Indianapolis. The CMM Programmer will be the subject matter expert for GD&T and CMM Programming for our client. This role is responsible for developing and managing measurement equipment programs to ensure compliance with company, customer, and industry quality standards. The position involves collecting, analyzing, and maintaining inspection and measurement data; managing calibration, organization, and maintenance of quality measurement equipment; and serving as the subject matter expert for measurement interpretation and analysis methodologies. The individual collaborates closely with machining, production, and program teams to resolve quality issues, report defects and nonconformances, support Material Review Boards, and provide technical guidance for corrective actions and root cause analysis. Additionally, the role drives continuous improvement initiatives, recommends process enhancements to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality, supports GR&R studies, and assists in establishing quality policies and procedures. Training and mentoring Quality Inspectors and Engineers, ensuring procedural compliance, and modeling safe, organized, and compliant workplace practices are also key responsibilities.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Mechanical Degree preferred
• 5+ years in CMM Programming (Zeiss experience preferred, Browning, Sharp or similar)
• Extensive experience with GD&T
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with measurement scanning equipment (MetraSCAN, Keyence)
