Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Process & Equipment Engineer to support the full lifecycle of equipment planning and installation for Toyota’s production operations. This role will lead process planning, machine specification creation, and equipment procurement, while managing installation and trial phases to ensure all machinery meets performance and safety targets. Daily work includes supporting project schedules, coordinating with vendors, leading installation activities, conducting quality analysis, and implementing adjustments for continuous improvement. The engineer will oversee cost reduction efforts, track manufacturing processes, and support new tooling through modification and installation phases. This individual will operate cross‑functionally with machine vendors, Toyota manufacturing sites, and internal engineering groups to ensure successful project execution. Responsibilities also include schedule control, budget management, and hands‑on support for equipment trials, debugging, and optimization. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, modeling experience, and the ability to work flexibly during non‑production periods. The ideal candidate brings experience in automotive manufacturing, tooling design, robotics, AGVs, and project management, along with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, hands‑on engineering environment.

Required Skills & Experience
• BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent hands‑on experience
• 1–2 years tooling design, tooling procurement, jigs, and weld tool experience
• 1–2 years' experience with robotic systems
• 1–2 years AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) experience
• 1–2 years automotive or manufacturing engineering experience
• 1–2 years project management experience
Strong experience with Catia / Carrot 3 modeling
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Toyota PE experience
• Experience with new product launches
• Background in body welding, new equipment procurement, or trial coordination
