Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Equipment Installation & Project Manager to support equipment installation and modification projects from initial scope creation through contract completion. This individual will negotiate initial contracts with installation contractors as well as field change orders that arise throughout execution. Typical project scopes include installation of robot/jig machine cells, transfer systems, conveyors, cooling water systems, exhaust systems, HVAC, lighting, sealer systems, utility distribution, and hoist systems. In addition, this role may involve creating machine specifications and managing vendors for process equipment such as overhead rail systems, AGVs, conveyor platforms, and related machinery. The Project Manager will oversee general contractors, subcontractors, and inspection/testing agencies, ensuring project safety, schedule adherence, and budget control. This individual will coordinate across multiple groups including general contractors, subcontractors, shipping companies, testing agencies, TMNA process engineers, TMNA Seibi, TMNA management, and NAMC leadership to drive project success. Responsibilities include administering construction contracts, performing onsite inspections, directing contractor activities, and ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards. The candidate will provide regular project reporting to TMNA leadership covering safety, schedule status, budget updates, and standards compliance. Upon project completion, they will deliver full reflection and closeout documentation. The ideal candidate brings strong construction trade experience, the ability to solve unplanned problems, and a commitment to maintaining safe work environments.

Required Skills & Experience

· Technical school certification or equivalent hands-on experience
· Industrial background with experience supporting general contractors
· 1+ years' Experience working with equipment such as robots, jigs, HVAC (light duct relocation), pipes, hoists, and lighting systems
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and MS Project
· Ability to use AutoCAD to modify and print drawings

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Previous automotive, industrial or construction experience
· Electrical background
· Experience creating machine specifications and supporting equipment procurement
· Safety management experience, strong time‑management, and effective technical communication
· Willingness to work off‑shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
