Job Description
The resource will design and maintain modern data architectures, including data warehouses and lakehouses, to enable scalable analytics and reporting. They will develop and optimize complex SQL queries for ETL/ELT processes, ensuring high data quality and reliable data flows while troubleshooting pipeline issues. Collaboration with stakeholders will be key to translating business requirements into effective data solutions, leveraging cloud platforms such as Azure Data Lake, Databricks, and Synapse. The role demands strong technical expertise in SQL, ETL design, and data warehousing concepts, with additional value from experience in Python, CI/CD practices, and data governance. This individual will lead team activities, communicate across all organizational levels, and uphold compliance standards in regulated environments.

Required Skills & Experience
• 6 years related experience as a Data Engineer, ETL Developer, or similar role.
• Data Lake Experience: Has Integrate with cloud data platforms (Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Synapse, Microsoft Fabric) as needed for modern data architectures.
• Experience designing, building , and maintaining data warehouses and lakehouses to support scalable, reliable analytics and reporting solutions.
• Experience developing and optimizing complex SQL queries for ETL/ELT processes, data validation, and analytics workloads.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of an organization, both internally and externally
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Has come from a Greenfield environment at an Enterprise level company.
• Expert technical knowledge with strong SQL skills: Proficient in writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting T-SQL for SQL Server or PL/SQL for Oracle
• Experience working as a Data Lead/architect in some compacity.
• Strong interpersonal skills, experience leading and working cross functionally internally.
