Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Meter Mechanic to work full-time Monday through Thursday in a climate-controlled facility for a large Utility company in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role involves unscrewing containers that hold utility meters, operating a forklift to unload and transport meters, and placing them into a hopper for recycling. The Meter Mechanic may also be responsible for scanning meter modules into an Excel spreadsheet for inventory tracking. The position requires consistent physical activity, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols while working in a clean and organized environment.

Required Skills & Experience
Forklift Certified
Able to lift up to 26 pounds
Comfortable with repetitive manual lifting
Experience working in a warehouse or facility doing manual labor
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience moving material and scanning for inventory
Basic Microsoft Excel experience
