Job Description

Lead team and provide guidance, support, and training to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety standards
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and financial records. Present updates to stakeholders and management
Analyze project outcomes to identify areas for improvement. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance future project performance
Develop manufacturing techniques to fabricate large defect-free refractories for high-temperature applications
Design and select appropriate refractory materials and insulation systems suited for high-temperature systems, focusing on thermal efficiency, mechanical integrity, and resistance to degradation
Collaborate with engineers to integrate refractory solutions within energy storage prototypes, ensuring compatibility with thermochemical processes and optimized heat retention
Analyze thermal and mechanical performance data to enhance refractory efficiency, energy retention, and overall system durability
Ensure all refractory designs and materials comply with high-temperature safety standards and regulations, especially concerning heat retention, chemical reactivity, and environmental sustainability

Required Skills & Experience

5-10+ years of experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
Expertise in refractory materials, insulation, and high-temperature applications.
Strong analytical skills to assess refractory performance under various thermal and mechanical stresses.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively in reports and team discussions

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Project Management experience and proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects
Bachelors or Associates degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Ceramic Engineering, or a related field
High precision in planning, execution, and documentation to ensure project success
Proficiency in project management software and tools
Experience in energy storage or thermochemical systems
High precision in planning, execution, and documentation to ensure project success
