Commercial Lines Service Agent

Insight Global's client is seeking a Commercial Lines Service Agent in Columbus, IN for a direct hire opportunity. Our client is an independent family owned insurance agency offering a wide range of insurance products. This role is ideal for a self-starter with strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and a passion for serving others. You’ll work closely with clients to provide tailored commercial insurance solutions and maintain long-term relationships. The Commercial Lines Service Agent will work fulltime onsite Monday – Friday and support 3 producers.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and service a book of commercial insurance clients.
• Provide expert advice on commercial insurance products and coverage options.
• Process policy changes, renewals, and endorsements.
• Communicate effectively with clients, underwriters, and carriers.
• Maintain accurate records in the agency management system.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

• 2+ years experience servicing commercial insurance policies
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License or willing to obtain upon hire
• if licensed in a surrounding state can transfer upon hire

• AMS360 or Applied Epic

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
