Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Capacity Planner to support one of our clients in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Capacity Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining capacity models that align demand with available resources across multiple value streams. This role bridges program schedule planning with factory reality, ensuring that labor, machine, and material constraints are proactively identified and resolved before they impact execution. The Capacity Planner partners closely with planners, value stream managers, and manufacturing leadership to turn schedule intent into executable reality.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
5+ years of experience in production planning, capacity planning, or manufacturing operations.
Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (SAP S4 experience strongly preferred).
Demonstrated ability to model complex scenarios and translate data into actionable insights.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

DOD experience
Familiarity with AS9100/AS6500 environments preferred.
