Job Description

Insight Global is seeking Staff Pharmacists to join a Fortune 10 retail pharmacy client supporting its pharmacies across the state of Indiana. This individual will be joining an exciting mission of building a world of health around every consumer and surrounding themselves with dedicated colleagues who are passionate about transforming health care. As a Staff Pharmacist, you play a critical role at the forefront of delivering purpose, modeling values, and demonstrating genuine, authentic care for patients. In addition to supporting the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing the pharmacy team, you are accountable for supporting the management, oversight, and operation of all aspects within your pharmacy. The Staff Pharmacists responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunization practices.
Team Leadership: Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading the pharmacy team, overseeing operations, and providing coaching and feedback.
Prescription Fulfillment: Ensure safe and accurate prescription processing by adhering to pharmacy workflow procedures.
Patient Experience: Enhance patient interactions by demonstrating empathy and resolving issues proactively.
Immunizations: Offer and deliver immunizations, and support Pharmacy Technicians in learning to immunize.
Inventory Management: Follow best practices for managing pharmacy inventory, especially for cold chain products.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and CVS Health policies.
Continuous Learning: Maintain and expand clinical and technical skills relevant to the evolving pharmacy landscape.
Clinical Care: Support access to care through pharmacist-delivered services where permissible.

Essential Functions:
Attendance: Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
Attention and Focus: Ability to concentrate on tasks and pivot as needed.
Customer Service: Provide friendly assistance and respond appropriately to patient needs.
Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills, including active listening.
Mathematical Reasoning: Ability to perform calculations related to prescriptions.
Issue Resolution: Identify and address challenging interactions effectively.


Compensation:
$118,000 to $153,000 per year annual salary

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

- Active Pharmacist license in the state of Indiana
- Bachelor or Doctor of Pharmacy
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA)
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
- Submission of required information/documents to your state PMP administrator to register for PMP access
