Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Industrial Engineer at a large automotive customer. The Materials Industrial Engineer will be responsible for working closely with the manufacturing team to optimize our production processes, ensure product quality, and reduce costs. The ideal candidate will have experience within the automotive industry, experience with industrial engineering, and a passion for driving continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and can adapt quickly to changing conditions.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of experience working within industrial engineering in an automotive manufacturing environment
- Strong experience with performing plant floor layouts through AutoCAD
- Strong experience conducting time and motion studies/time studies + STDS
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, automation, and material flow principles
- Proven ability to support and coordinate with plant Industrial Engineering teams
