A large healthcare system in the Northeast Indiana area is looking for a Medical Assistant to join one of their OBGYN facilities in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
You will assist the providers in the OBGYN facilities with scheduling appointments, taking patients vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, etc.), drawing blood, providing instruction on any medication or treatments, administering injections, performing basis labs, assisting on medical examinations or procedures, preparing for procedures and more.
Individuals must have an education level of a high school diploma or higher and currently a certified medical assistant OR enrolled in a medical assistant program. If currently enrolled in a medical assistant program, it must be completed within the first two years of the job.
This is a permanent role with an hourly rate range of $16.07-$26.06/hr depending on years of experience and certification. It is a Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. onsite position five days a week. Additionally, medical, dental and vision benefits, 401k, PTO and career advancement are provided.
