Job Description

A client of Insight Global's is looking for a Desktop Support Technician who will provide:

- Call Center Support: Provide technical support in a call center setting, assisting users both remotely and in person.
- Computer Imaging: Unbox and set up computers, connect them to the network, initiate PXE boot, and ensure all applications and systems (Windows 10 and 11) are fully operational before deployment.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing equipment, monitor inventory levels, and order supplies as needed for audit periods.
- Shipping and Receiving: Handle the logistics of shipping and receiving equipment, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Troubleshooting: Address issues related to computer imaging; no requirement for advanced troubleshooting such as VDI access.
- Warehouse Operations: Operate in a warehouse-style environment, including lifting and moving equipment.
- Equipment Requests: Fulfill equipment requests from remote users, ensuring their needs are met promptly.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2-4+ years of experience in a call center or similar environment.
- Basic troubleshooting skills related to computer imaging.
- Basic computer setup and imaging skills, including experience with Windows 10 and 11.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move equipment as required.
- Excellent communication skills for effective support and collaboration.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Familiarity with MDT (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit) is a plus
