We are seeking a highly skilled Entra ID Architect with expertise in Active Directory to join one of our insurance clients and play a key role in developing, rearchitecting, and implementing a robust Entra ID/Active Directory (AD) infrastructure at an enterprise level. They will be also heavily involved in finding solutions in a mixed cloud environment and work with the security team on identity management and help drive strategy throughout mergers and acquisitions (M&A) strategies while ensuring seamless integration and federation of enterprise applications. This role requires an automation-first mindset and someone that has experience in Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) methodologies would be a huge plus
Key Responsibilities
Lead identity architecture strategy for mergers and acquisitions, ensuring effective directory integration and optimization.
Design and implement multi-cloud identity solutions across Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS, while integrating on-prem Active Directory systems.
Develop federated directory models and streamline identity orchestration across platforms.
Architect automation-driven identity solutions, utilizing Terraform and IaC methodologies to ensure scalability and efficiency.
Partner with security and IAM teams to design secure identity access management solutions, integrating IAM tools such as SailPoint.
Prioritize development-focused solutions over operational approaches, leveraging coding and automation practices to enhance system functionality.
Work independently as a self-starter, offering strategic insights and driving architectural improvements across the organization.
Pay rate: 70-95/hr

-5+ years of experience with Entra ID and Active Directory architecture at an enterprise scale with experience in multiple forest trust relationships and discrete domain naming.
- Needs to have either built Entra ID in a previous role or been apart of a hands on migration
-expereince using Terraform
-Familiarity with IAM tools (such as SailPoint) and understanding of identity governance principles.
- Strong development experience, focusing on scripting, automation, and identity service enhancements. (ex. powershell)
-Strong background in Identity Federation, application orchestration, and hybrid identity strategies.
-Experience integrating on-prem Active Directory with cloud identity solutions.
- Experience building and leading engineering/architecture teams through mergers and acquisitions with a focus on collaboration and innovation.
-Prior experience in large manufacturing industries
