Job Description

Insight Global's client is looking to hire a Controller in Indianapolis, IN. This client is a faith-based nonprofit that specializes in lending for churches and ministries. The Controller will be responsible for leading the accounting department including cash forecasting, monthly close, financial reporting, budgeting, audit, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and staff supervision. They will lead internal accounting efforts but will interface externally with delinquent loan holders as necessary. This person will manage a team of 3 direct reports. We are looking for someone with a strong background in accounting and leadership. This is a hybrid opportunity in Indianapolis, IN and is budgeted a permanent salary of $75-85k. Required Skills & Experience

-Strong technical accounting skills and a thorough understanding of GAAP and FASB standards
-Proven experience in financial reporting, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, and forecasting
-Experience managing accounting teams with direct reports
-Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Industry experience in a non-profit or faith-based organization
