Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Active Directory Architect to join one of our insurance clients and play a key role in developing, rearchitecting, and implementing a robust Active Directory (AD) infrastructure at an enterprise level. This position requires a seasoned professional with a deep technical background in Active Directory, large-scale architecture, and integration with modern identity management solutions. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience building and leading engineering or architecture teams, as well as rearchitecting complex AD environments with multiple forest trust relationships. A background in the financial services or insurance industry is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
AD Infrastructure Development: Design and implement an advanced AD infrastructure that supports complex, multi-forest trust relationships, discrete naming domains, and integrates with SailPoint and PKI solutions.
Team Leadership: Build and lead a team of AD engineers and architects, providing strategic direction and mentorship for developing and implementing architecture solutions.
Cloud Integration: Design and execute strategies for integrating AD into multiple cloud platforms, including Azure Identity Store and other cloud services, to enhance scalability and security.
Identity Management: Develop and manage solutions for secure identity and access management that align with corporate security policies and support multi-cloud environments.
-Automation & Scripting: Utilize PowerShell scripting for automation, deployment, and troubleshooting within AD environments; Terraform experience is a significant advantage for infrastructure as code development.
Migration Strategy: Lead AD migration initiatives, including the development of new architecture for migration to cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
Industry Compliance: Ensure architecture and operations adhere to regulatory and industry standards.


Pay rate: 70-90/hr

Required Skills & Experience

-7+ years of experience with Active Directory architecture at an enterprise scale with experience in multiple forest trust relationships and discrete domain naming.
-Hands-on experience with SailPoint integrations in complex environments.
- Advanced PowerShell skills
- Strong understanding of integrating AD with cloud environments for identity management solutions.
- Experience building and leading engineering/architecture teams with a focus on collaboration and innovation.
- Industry experience within Financial services or insurance
