Job Description

Lead efforts to establish and maintain data quality standards, including data profiling, data cleansing, and monitoring processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
Develop and implement a data quality management framework, including policies, procedures, and metrics to assess and improve the quality of enterprise data.
Work closely with data producers and consumers, business analysts, and IT teams to define data quality requirements and drive data quality improvements across the organization.
Manage and enhance the use of data quality tools and technologies, working with IT to implement automation where possible to streamline data quality checks.
Act as a data quality champion, providing guidance and training to data stewards and business users to promote awareness and adoption of data governance principles.
Support and enhance enterprise metadata management (i.e., data catalog) system and processes for integrating it into the organization.
Facilitate and collaborate with the data producers and consumers to identify the appropriate metadata for data ingestion into the cloud data platform for advanced analytics.
Collaborate with data practitioners to ensure that data governance processes are embedded and embraced, and that data is accurately classified and managed.

Required Skills & Experience

Specific experience within any of the following: data management, data governance, data quality and technical business analysis
Expertise at implementing a data quality framework
Expertise in running a data quality module after creating framework
Experience supporting a data quality management framework and process
Azure experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Knowledge of advance analytics with AI/ML, deep learning, and knowledge graph
Masters degree
Expertise in Microsoft Purview
