Insight Global is looking for a Product Development Engineer for a permanent opportunity for one of its clients in New Albany, Indiana. We are targeting a salary range of $70,000-$110,000. This candidate will be a part of the New Product Development team responsible for taking a new product from design to release. They will heavily work cross functionally with engineering support teams such as the measurement lab, test lab and different production groups. This candidate will be responsible for debugging issues and solving problems as they arise to ensure the successful release of the product. This role will be approximately 60% desk work, analyzing testing data to help identify issues and make modifications to the product as needed based on the analysis. The other 40% of the role will be hands on within the labs and working directly with the products. The candidate will be heavily involved within project works that can range from 6+ shorter term projects or 2-3 longer term projects. This will be a five day a week onsite role.

- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or related
- 2+ years experience in product development doing product testing and performance evaluation
- Experience working within CAD software (SolidWorks or AutoCAD)
- Experience in data analysis/related tools (Minitab/JMP)
Experience with plastic injection molding and high speed progressive die stamping
