An employer is seeking multiple Systems Engineers (Avionics) to sit in the Indianapolis, IN area. This person will be supporting projects related to engine controls software for airborne platforms. The projects you will support include developing thermal and power management systems for directed energy, advanced VTOL technology, turbine technologies for Mach 5 flight, and infrared suppressors. The Systems Security Engineer Embedded Systems will collaborate with customers, their clients, supply-chain, and industry experts to enhance cyber security capability and tools for customer programs while determining the technology and processes required to meet embedded system product requirements for system security against cyber operational threats. He/she will support implementation of system security work scope for customer programs, including task planning, requirements implementation, risk assessments tools and methods, and associated product lifecycle deliverables. This will also include the review of existing product designs and development plans for cyber security related work scope gaps and implementation to meet contract requirements.

Bachelors Degree (STEM) and 4+ years of exp in Systems Engineering OR a Masters Degree and 2+ years of experience.
Experience from Aero/Avionics, Automotive or Industrial Controls industry as a Systems Engineer (Standalone Systems preferably on an aircraft)
Previous Systems Requirement Development/Systems Design Exp.
Requirements Management tools exp (DOORs preferred)
Modeling experience at the System level (Matlab/Simulink)
