AS400 SME

Insight Global is seeking a remote AS400 SME for our electric motors and power transmission components manufacturer. This resource will support a legacy system for an acquired manufacturing site in Toronto, Canada and will require expertise in AS400 to reverse-engineer the application to establish a standardized process. You will be starting from scratch, jumping into a home-brewed, green screened, application to work through all existing documentation, sort through all code, test, and establish a strong documented process for future use.

* 8-10+ years of working knowledge with AS400

* Ability to write technical documentation, gather requirements, etc.

* Hands on experience and ability to change system prices and work through end of year activities

* Experience working on custom systems

* Experience working through documentation, reverse engineering, and writing procedures

* Excellent verbal and written communication
