Job Description
The Senior IT Network Security Engineer will be a member of the IT Security Engineering team reporting to the IT Security Engineering Manager. They will drive towards SSO and MFA -- starting next year and next couple of years.
The Senior IT Network Security Engineer provides firewall and network security engineering expertise to deliver security controls. The position requires a heavy emphasis on firewall and F5 Access Policy Manager (APM) engineering and administration. This position will focus on providing IT Security design, engineering, administrative solutions and processes for IT projects, services, and the enterprise.
Required Skills & Experience
* 5+ years of experience in IT security network engineering and solution delivery (research, design, build, deploy, operation and support) practices
* F5 Load Balancing Access Policy Manager (APM) experience
o Get off Microsoft WAF and get on APM seamlessly
o Virtualization projects for F5
o Implemented it and integrated it to Azure AD
o Understand protocols associated to it -- SAMO or O-Auth
* Keep someone to support i
* Microsoft Azure Technology and network security layer
* Active Directory
* Access control list - understanding ACL's
* Require demonstration of strong technical experience with security control architecture design and solution delivery
* Require demonstration of strong business acumen with analytical, interpersonal, multi-tasking, negotiations, industry knowledge, project management and communication, written as well as oral skills
* Strong understanding of networking infrastructure concepts, technologies, protocols, and solutions
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Bachelor degree or higher in Cyber Security or related Computer Science program
* Checkpoint Firewalls (their end of life is starting June 1st)
* Looking for candidates with either version 8030 or version 8040 checkpoint firewalls
* Required professional security qualification: CCSA
* Check Point R80
* F5 Local Traffic Manager (LTM)
* Zscaler
* Versa
* Cisco ACI
* Other IT risk and security certifications are a plus, e.g. CCSE, F5-CA, CISSP or equivalent
* Understanding of key server technology and networking infrastructure concepts, technologies, protocols and solutions
