We are looking for a strategic and hands-on sales leader to build and expand strategic growth channels across foodservice, distribution, retail, and co-manufacturing markets. This individual will identify whitespace opportunities, develop growth strategies, build new customer relationships, and drive revenue growth through both business development and strategic channel expansion. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, comfortable building new business from the ground up, and capable of balancing high-level strategy with day-to-day execution.

Required Skills & Experience
Strong food industry sales experience
Proven business development and new account acquisition experience
Experience identifying market opportunities and developing strategic growth plans
Ability to build business from scratch and create traction in new channels
Experience selling food products within food manufacturing environments
Strong strategic planning, execution, and analytical capabilities
Experience developing and managing customer relationships and partnerships
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with sales, operations, supply chain, finance, and executive leadership teams
Ability to balance strategy with hands-on sales execution
Willingness to work on-site regularly, including significant office presence during the first 90 days
Must be located in the Chicago area or willing to relocate
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Protein or meat industry experience
USDA-regulated food manufacturing experience
Experience within dairy, cheese, seafood, or similar regulated food industries
Experience selling through distribution, foodservice, retail, GPO, or co-manufacturing channels
Salesforce or comparable CRM experience
Experience managing broker relationships and channel partnerships
Experience creating go-to-market strategies and scaling new business channels
Experience with pricing strategy, customer segmentation, and pipeline management
Strong understanding of foodservice distribution networks and channel sales
Experience operating in highly entrepreneurial and growth-focused environments
