Job Description
Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements from stakeholders across lending, operations, technology, and compliance teams.
Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and system requirements.
Support Securities-Based Lending initiatives, including collateral management, collateral monitoring, and lending process enhancements.
Create process flows, workflow diagrams, business requirements documents (BRDs), functional requirements documents (FRDs), and other project documentation.
Perform data analysis and data mapping activities to support system integrations, reporting, and transformation initiatives.
Conduct research and impact assessments to support business and technology decision-making.
Partner with development, QA, data, and business teams to ensure requirements are fully understood and implemented correctly.
Support testing activities, including test planning, test case review, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, and issue resolution.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience.
Strong banking or financial services industry experience.
Strong Agile experience, including user story creation, backlog refinement, sprint planning support, and acceptance criteria development.
Previous experience in a waterfall environment
Experience developing process maps, workflow diagrams, and business requirements documentation.
Experience performing data mapping, gap analysis, research, and testing activities.
Ability to support projects throughout the full SDLC rather than focusing solely on documentation deliverables.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Strong lending experience, particularly within Securities-Based Lending, commercial lending, consumer lending, mortgage lending, or loan origination.
Experience with SuperNova, collateral monitoring platforms, or similar lending systems.
Experience supporting collateralized lending products where securities and investment assets are used as loan collateral.
Experience with loan origination, servicing, underwriting, or lending operations platforms.
SQL, reporting, and data analysis experience.
Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
Previous experience within large enterprise banking organizations.
Understanding of banking regulatory and compliance requirements.
