Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Technical Project Manager for a top industrial technology client supporting a large-scale global infrastructure and connected device deployment initiative. This individual will serve as the central point of coordination across engineering, architecture, development, infrastructure, data, and customer stakeholder teams to deliver connected technology solutions across manufacturing facilities worldwide.
The ideal candidate will blend strong project management expertise with enough technical acumen to understand infrastructure, networking, IoT ecosystems, APIs, and data integrations. This person will be responsible for driving deployment roadmaps, managing risks and dependencies, coordinating global implementation activities, and communicating project status to both executive and technical audiences. The program spans dozens of international manufacturing sites and requires someone comfortable navigating multiple time zones, cultural differences, and complex technical deployment environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned technical project manager who thrives in customer-facing environments and enjoys leading highly visible, global transformation initiatives.

Day-to-Day:
Lead project execution for a global deployment initiative across 50-150+ manufacturing facilities worldwide
Manage deployment schedules, milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities
Coordinate efforts across engineering, architecture, development, infrastructure, data, product, and business teams
Maintain RAID logs and drive issue resolution
Facilitate deployment readiness reviews, steering committee meetings, and executive updates
Act as a primary customer-facing representative throughout implementation
Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans to internal leadership and customer stakeholders
Align customer implementation timelines with internal delivery commitments
Support deployments involving IoT devices, industrial connectivity, network infrastructure, APIs, and data collection technologies
Translate technical discussions into business-level updates for executives
Identify opportunities to optimize schedules and accelerate deployment timelines
Navigate regional and cultural differences while supporting teams across Europe, North America, Latin America, and other global regions
Drive alignment across multiple parallel workstreams and competing priorities
