Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Application Developer to support our clients application development effort. This individual will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs while partnering with architects, technical leads, and product owners. Daily responsibilities include developing AWS-based solutions, implementing event-driven architectures, supporting CI/CD automation, troubleshooting production issues, and driving code quality and application security. The developer will also leverage AI-assisted development tools to increase development efficiency and software quality.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of software development experience focused on backend services and APIs
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET (C#), microservices, and RESTful APIs
• Experience designing and building cloud-native applications on AWS
• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, Step Functions, and DynamoDB
• Experience with event-driven architectures and API integrations
• Experience working within Agile environments
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Terraform or CloudFormation

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Kafka, Solace, or EventBridge
• AWS certifications
• OpenTelemetry or observability framework experience
• Automated testing and TDD experience
