Job Description

Senior Lead Analyst who thrives at the intersection of data, analytics, and business strategy.
Unlike many banking organizations where analytics sits within IT, this team reports directly into the business. As a result, analysts operate as strategic partners to business leaders, helping drive decisions across customer growth, profitability, pricing, segmentation, and overall business performance.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly visible and rapidly growing team that is currently undergoing significant transformation and investment. The environment is often described as a "startup within a bank"—ideal for someone who enjoys building processes, navigating ambiguity, and solving complex business problems rather than simply executing predefined requirements.
Business Partnership
Work closely with Product, Finance, Strategy, and Operations teams.
Facilitate conversations between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Help business partners understand trends, opportunities, and risks within their data.
Drive data-informed decision making across the organization.

What You'll Be Doing
Strategic Analytics & Insight Generation
• Partner with senior business leaders to identify opportunities and solve complex business challenges.
• Analyze customer behavior, banking products, profitability, pricing trends, and business performance.
• Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
• Develop executive-ready presentations that influence strategic decisions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders across U.S. Banking.
Technical Analytics
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract

The successful candidate is equally comfortable discussing business strategy and writing SQL queries.

• Candidates who are purely technical and only want to talk about programming languages.
• Candidates who are purely business-focused but lack analytical depth.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–7+ years of analytics experience, within banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of banking products, customer behavior, segmentation, and business performance metrics.
• Advanced SQL experience.
• Python experience for data analysis and automation.
• Ability to simplify complex data into compelling business insights.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with limited structure.
Proven ability to balance technical analytics with business strategy

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI) is a plus
