Job Description
Own the architecture and strategy for a hybrid DNS/DHCP/IPAM (DDI) environment, helping transition a heavily on-prem infrastructure toward a hybrid/cloud-ready future. This person will design scalable, resilient solutions while also driving automation, standardization, and operational excellence across global environments.
Responsibilities:
Design, operate, and enhance hybrid DNS/DHCP/IPAM infrastructure across on-prem and cloud (AWS/Azure)
Lead architecture strategy and provide visionary direction for the DDI team
Automate workflows using Python, Ansible, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
Troubleshoot complex DDI issues, lead RCAs, and resolve Priority 1 outages
Establish technical standards, review security vulnerabilities (CVEs), and recommend mitigations
Collaborate with Cloud, Network, and Security teams to align on scalable, resilient solutions
Maintain documentation, runbooks, and ensure operational continuity

Required Skills & Experience
5–7+ years in an Architect-level role within large-scale environments
Strong experience with DNS, DHCP, and DDI (Infoblox/BlueCat)
Hands-on experience with AWS Route53 (and/or Azure DNS)
Automation and coding skills (Python, Ansible, APIs)
Strong networking and Active Directory knowledge

Visionary/strategic architecture mindset
Experience designing hybrid (on-prem + cloud) infrastructures
CI/CD pipeline experience and monitoring implementations
