Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Business Manager to oversee business operations, project coordination, client management, financial administration, and operational workflow across multiple active construction projects of one of our clients in South Holland, IL. This person will be in leadership and will be working directly with project managers, estimators, subcontractors, vendors, and clients and needs prior experience within a construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Construction Operations Management
• Oversee daily business operations for an active general contracting company
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
• Track project progress, schedules, milestones, and operational deadlines
• Support construction teams to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
• Assist with procurement, material tracking, deliveries, and vendor coordination
• Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for process improvement
• Project Administration and manage project documentation through Procore
• Maintain contracts, subcontracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, permits, and project records
• Ensure all project files remain organized, accurate, and audit-ready
• Assist with project closeout documentation and compliance requirements

Financial & Accounting Coordination
• Manage client invoicing and payment tracking
• Utilize QuickBooks Desktop daily Coordinate accounts receivable and project billing
• Track project costs and support budget monitoring
• Assist ownership with financial reporting and operational analysis
• Reconcile project-related financial documentation

Client & Vendor Management
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders
• Conduct project follow-ups and operational meetings
Coordinate communications between clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience working for a construction company, general contractor, restoration contractor, or construction management firm working in the business operations and construction project administration and operations
• Experience handling construction invoicing, pay applications, billing, and project financial documentation
• Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, and pay applications
• Experience managing construction project documentation

Compensation:
$65,000 to $75,000 per year annual salary.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
