Job Description
Support the Product Owner directly with BPM-focused backlog and work items
Gather, document, and refine business and process requirements
Create and maintain detailed process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Lead and participate in backlog refinement and requirements workshops
Ensure requirements are clearly documented for developers and testers, including offshore teams
Perform proactive research and refinement prior to stakeholder reviews
Coordinate requirements across multiple teams with varying delivery methodologies
Support ongoing process improvement and change initiatives within the wealth banking space

Required Skills & Experience
Local to Naperville, IL with ability to be onsite 2–3 days per week
5+ years of Business Analyst experience (most recent experience most important)
Strong BPM experience (process modeling, workflow design, and optimization)
Wealth Management / Wealth Banking domain experience
Banking or financial services background
Experience documenting end-to-end business processes and requirements
Strong Agile experience (story writing, backlog refinement, iterative delivery)
Ability to write clear requirements that can be consumed by developers and testers globally
Experience working with global and offshore teams across time zones
Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing complex dependencies
Strong communication skills with ability to stay neutral during challenging discussions
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience working in hybrid environments (Agile teams dependent on waterfall teams)
Familiarity with BPM tools or platforms used in enterprise banking environments
Experience supporting long-term change initiatives rather than short-term projects
Exposure to Agile coaches or teams undergoing Agile transformation
Background working within large, complex financial institutions
