Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer, AI Native for a top technology-driven services client. This individual will serve as a senior technical contributor within an AI forward engineering organization, leading the design and delivery of complex full stack features while mentoring engineers and setting a high technical bar. The role emphasizes AI native development practices, where engineers leverage AI agents for scale while maintaining ownership over architecture, quality, and decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned engineer passionate about modern development, AI-assisted workflows, and building impactful, customer-facing platforms.
Day-to-Day:
• Lead design and implementation of complex full stack features
• Set and uphold code quality and engineering standards across the team
• Design scalable, maintainable REST APIs and integration patterns
• Mentor engineers via code reviews, pairing, and technical coaching
• Contribute to architectural discussions balancing velocity and long-term health
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices in Azure
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery
• Coach teammates on prompt engineering and AI output evaluation
• Collaborate with Product, QE, and stakeholders on feature delivery
• Partner with Technical Product Owners to refine complex requirements

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong backend expertise in C#, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, Entity Framework Core, SQL Server / Azure SQL
• Frontend experience with React (v18), TypeScript, Redux, RTK Query
• Experience designing and shipping production-grade, full stack features
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure deployment patterns
• Proficiency using AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor) and LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, Azure OpenAI)
• Strong ability to evaluate AI-generated code for quality, security, and architectural fit
• Experience mentoring engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with Angular
• Prompt engineering experience with reusable templates and system instructions
• Experience working in agentic or AI native engineering models
• Exposure to healthcare, legal tech, or fintech platforms
• Strong architectural design and long-term system thinking
