Pay & Entitlements
· Describe a multi‑rate or step progression setup you configured. What business rules drove it?
· How have you handled retro pay, corrections, or off‑cycle payroll adjustments in Dayforce?
· What are common mistakes you see with entitlements, and how do you prevent them?
Time Entry & Attendance
· How do you design time entry policies for complex shift scenarios (overnight, split shifts, union rules)?
· Can you give an example where attendance rules directly impacted payroll and how you resolved it?
· How do you handle exceptions and overrides without breaking downstream payroll calculations?
Payroll Process & Mapping
· Walk me through how pay codes flow from time capture through payroll.
· What experience do you have mapping Dayforce outputs to downstream payroll or finance systems?
· How do you validate payroll results before final approval?
Depth Check
· What Dayforce pay or time configuration are you most confident owning independently, and what would you escalate?

Required Skills & Experience
General requirements
· Strong Dayforce WFM configuration expertise in conjunction with familiarity with payroll functionality and processes
· Good knowledge with Dayforce attendance module
· Able to understand and troubleshoot complex policies, accrual balance, pay code and attendance setup etc
Good knowledge with Dayforce report functionality. Be able to build and execute WFM and Payroll related reports to analyze pay impact
