Job Description

This Specialty Insurance company is looking to add a Business Systems Analyst to support their Premium Accounting function. This individual will play a key role in gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements tied to operational accounting workflows within their core insurance systems, partnering closely with Accounting and IT Development teams. They will act as the key liaison between the two groups and will participate in testing, validation, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

5–7 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst or Requirements Gathering role
Background in the Insurance industry, ideally in the MGU/Brokerage space with P&C insurance
Experience supporting Premium Accounting functions
Hands-on requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management experience
Experience working closely with IT / Development teams (Agile or SDLC environments)
Exposure to Policy Administration or Accounting Systems (Duck Creek, Guidewire, or similar)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Direct experience with Duck Creek or Guidewire implementations or enhancements
Understanding of insurance financial flows (billing, premiums, reconciliation, downstream reporting)
