Insight Global is seeking a Mixed Methods Researcher with a demonstrated track record of designing and executing end‑to‑end research strategies that inform innovation, discovery, and early‑stage concept development. This individual is equally fluent in qualitative and quantitative methods and excels at translating ambiguous problem spaces into structured learning plans that drive strategic decisions. This will be a 12-month contract to start with the possibility of extension and conversion to permanent (Big 5 Banking client).

• Mixed‑Methods Research Strategy: Designs integrated qualitative and quantitative research plans aligned to innovation, discovery, and evaluation goals. Selects methods intentionally based on decision risk, maturity of the concept, and learning objectives.
• Innovation & Discovery Research: Frames ambiguous or emergent problem spaces, identifying unmet needs, opportunity areas, and hypotheses. Applies generative, exploratory, and evaluative methods across early and mid‑stage innovation cycles.
• Research Planning & Governance: Creates clearly articulated research plans, including objectives, methods, sampling, success criteria, and limitations. Balances rigor with speed in environments with evolving requirements.
• Synthesis & Insight Development: Integrates qualitative depth with quantitative signal to develop defensible, actionable insights for Design, Product and Sales. Moves beyond reporting to interpretation, storytelling, and implications for product, experience, or strategy.
Stakeholder Influence & Decision Enablement: Partners closely with product, design, sales, and business leaders to shape research questions and inform decisions. Communicates complex findings clearly to mixed technical and non‑technical audiences.
