Job Description
This role supports the equipment engineering function to ensure the right equipment is scoped, requested, ordered, tracked, received, and paid—so wireless network growth projects stay on schedule and on budget while meeting Verizon Wireless standards and practices.
• Support the In-Building team working on DAS and Venue deployments
• Support the broader equipment engineering team with order logistics and coordination
• Create and manage Material Requests (MRs) and associated documentation
• Forecast equipment needs based on project start dates and deployment plans
• Ensure proper tracking of all components (inventory/chain-of-custody/visibility)
• Monitor equipment expenditures, assist with budget alignment and spend controls
• Prepare purchase orders and coordinate vendor payment to keep orders moving
• Drive equipment procurement & optimization (right parts, right time, right cost)
• Oversee equipment receipt and acceptance (confirm accuracy/completeness, resolve gaps)

Required Skills & Experience
• 3–5 years of experience supporting wireless network equipment engineering / equipment lifecycle for network projects
○ Bachelor’s degree OR 3+ years of relevant experience (including applicable military experience)
• Knowledge of Wireless Technologies, Wireless Networks, and Network Design
• Experience managing equipment/capital needs to support network growth on-time and within budget
• Ability to create complete equipment specifications aligned to deployment plans and standards
• Strong project management + communication skills; comfortable coordinating across multiple teams/vendors
• Experience with tracking components, monitoring spend, and maintaining clean documentation
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• In-building / DAS / Venue project experience
• Experience with RF repeaters
• Background in the cellular/telecommunications industry or prior military experience
• Knowledge of cell RF, plus electrical + mechanical design fundamentals (including equipment configurations)
