Job Description

Position Summary:
The Developer’s primary role is to transform business functional requirements into technical
solutions as well as provide 2nd and 3rd level tier support for Salesforce applications. The
Developer is expected to perform analysis, design, development, and implementation of
process and technology within the Salesforce suite of applications.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
• Analysis, design, development, and implement new and/or existing business
applications and software. Development will include interface and integration work.
• Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business
functions and meet project objectives, business requirements and goals.
• Manage development environments including multiple sandboxes and the migration
process for code and configuration to production Salesforce environment.
• Work closely with business teams to develop complex solutions that follow best
practices evaluating configuration versus code to best support the long-term strategy of
the organization while maintaining simplicity in the environment.
• Interact with business stakeholders and users as necessary to better understand project
objectives and capability requirements.
• Provide tier-two support of Salesforce environment, primarily related to customized
applications, workflows, and integrations.
• Work with IT Service Center and business on support issues with high degree of
responsiveness and resolution.
• Provide technical expertise when evaluating and designing solutions ensuring all
components and subsystems impacted are properly addressed during business
application build and deployment.
• Act as a liaison to IT and business to improve both IT and business processes to reduce
costs or enhance services where applicable.
• Provide technical analysis and design expertise during development of business
applications.
• Create test cases and assist in technical and end-user testing. May be required to help
deploy solutions.
• Collaborate and coordinate with the business and with all areas of the IT function.
• Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related
field.
• 3+ years working as a Salesforce Developer.
• Possess Advanced Admin and Dev 1 Certifications.
• Demonstrated proficiency in effort estimation, working with business sponsors,
development execution and testing.
• Experience with Lightning Web Components, APEX, and Salesforce declarative
features.
• Experience with Salesforce data management concepts.
• Experience in integrating systems and related data.
• Strong technical skills, understanding of information systems, and business processes.
• Ability to effectively work with business users to ensure technical solution meets
business requirements.
• Excellent ability to manage competing demands and adapt to changes or delays.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Demonstrated interpersonal, teamwork and relationship building skills in order to work
effectively and contribute to a team environment.
