Insight Global is hiring a Senior Portfolio Manager for one of our largest reinsurance clients. The Portfolio Manager will oversee the administration of insurance and/or reinsurance accounts and contracts. Establishing and maintaining contractual data, processing the insurance and/or reinsurance account bookings, claims handling and manage the related cash flow. The Senior Portfolio Manager will also supports the underwriters in administrative activities related to the underwriting process.

Roles and Responsibilities
· Manage the full administration of reinsurance/insurance accounts, including entering and updating contracts, Terms & Conditions, and ensuring accuracy across underwriting and accounting systems.
· Process and reconcile accounts and claims, investigate discrepancies with stakeholders (underwriters, claims experts, brokers, cedents), and maintain complete documentation in the DMS.
· Oversee an independent portfolio of medium to complex accounts, resolve complex issues, and provide mentorship and knowledge‑sharing support to junior team members.
· Handle all cashflow activities such as client bank account setup, incoming/outgoing payments, monitoring open balances, and performing required Internal Control System (ICS) checks.
Ensure compliance with sanctions/embargo guidelines, support audit requirements, analyze client account data, produce reports for stakeholders, and maintain strong communication through internal and external meetings.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:
· 5+ years of experience in accounting and underwriting assistance and/or controlling within the insurance or reinsurance industry
· Advanced MS Office skills (focus on MS Excel and Power Query)
· Advanced analytical skills and accuracy
· Strong communication and team collaboration skills with both internal and external stakeholders and team members
Strong problem solving skills and flexibility/adaptability to changes

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses:
· Business Objects skills (SAP Business Objects/ SAP BO)
Experience working with Power Bi and/or Tableau
