Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Junior QA Automation Engineer to join our growing team. The Junior QA will work closely with senior engineers to develop and execute automated test cases for our APIs using Typescript and Playwright, managed in Azure Test Plans. This role will leverage Typescript and Playwright, with CI/CD using Azure devops. The Junior QA will establish best practices, frameworks, and provide technical leadership, ensuring robust test coverage for our APIs—even where documentation is incomplete. This is a consultative, hands-on role with significant influence on our automation strategy and team culture.

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years of experience in QA automation, with a strong focus on Typescript and Playwright.

Integrate Playwright test cases with Azure Test Plans and Azure DevOps pipelines.

Proven experience building API test automation suites and integrating with Azure DevOps.

Hands-on experience with Azure Test Plans, Git, and test case management.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Swagger, Postman, SmartBear).

Excellent communication skills (English), able to collaborate with internal teams.

Ability to mentor and lead junior team memb

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Testing experience with Angular using TypeScript.

Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and integrating automated tests into pipelines.

Performance tuning and validation experience.

Experience working in ambiguous environments with incomplete documentation.
