Job Description

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications using modern frameworks and tools. The position requires hands-on coding, leadership in technical design, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include building RESTful APIs, implementing microservices architecture, deploying applications on AWS, and ensuring system performance and reliability. The candidate will also support production systems, troubleshoot issues, and mentor junior developers.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

5+ years of professional experience in Java/JEE application development.

Hands-on development experience (not just delegation).

Leadership experience, including mentoring junior developers.

Strong understanding of Java and core concepts.

Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC).

RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL).

Version control systems (e.g., Git).

Deploying code on AWS and troubleshooting issues.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Familiarity with front-end technologies (JavaScript, React/Angular/Vue.js).

Exposure to containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
