Day to Day:
• Lead and support database and application projects
• Monitor and optimize SQL systems and performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues (Level 3 support)
• Collaborate with architects on enterprise solutions
• Manage backups, restores, mirroring, and synchronization
• Support application implementations and upgrades
• Maintain documentation and participate in audits and health checks
• Participate in patching, change control, and on-call rotations
• Ensure compliance with DR and data retention policies
• Work closely with stakeholders and infrastructure teams

Required Skills & Experience
Required Skills:
• 5+ years of SQL DBA experience
• Experience leading database and application deployments and upgrades
• Legal application experience
o iManage, Intapp Walls, Integration Builder, Inprotech preferred
• Strong understanding of SQL clustering, high availability, and disaster recovery
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based database systems
• Proactive mindset with strong solutioning skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Plusses:
• Experience with standard legal systems (Elite, Interaction)
• Familiarity with authentication protocols (OAuth2, SAML, SSO)
• Working knowledge of Windows Server, IIS, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory
• Experience with SQL versions 2012 and up
