Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lead CAD Drafter with expertise in Civil3D to support telecom fiber infrastructure projects. This role goes beyond drafting—it requires leadership in cross-functional collaboration, quality assurance, and client communication.
As the Lead Drafter, you will:
• Oversee the creation and refinement of construction drawings, fiber layouts, and utility plans using Civil3D, ensuring precision and adherence to project specifications.
• Conduct thorough review and quality control (QC) of drawings produced by the drafting team, identifying discrepancies and ensuring consistency.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the design team in the U.S. and the drafting team, facilitating clear communication and alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Communicate directly with clients to clarify requirements, address feedback, and ensure expectations are met.
• Develop base maps from client-provided data and enhance spatial accuracy using built-in imagery tools.
Collaborate closely with engineering and project management teams to deliver high-quality drafting support throughout the project lifecycle

Required Skills & Experience
2+ years of experience as a drafter/designer
Proficient in AutoCAD 2D & 3D
Experience reviewing/QC on drawings
Experience communicating directly with clients - strong communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Proficient in Civil3D
Familiar with utilities/fiber design
