Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Client Service Specialist to join a growing Financial Services client of ours in Peoria, IL.

As a Client Service Specialist (CSS) at our Charles Schwab Independent Branch, you will be the first point of contact for clients and play a key role in delivering a secure, professional, and seamless experience. You’ll be responsible for client verification, account support, operational processing, and helping the branch run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Client Experience & Verification

Greet clients professionally and verify identity according to SOP.

Review Client Central and Salesforce (Executive Summary + notes) to prepare for client interactions.

Account & Service Support

Handle account inquiries and service requests.

Process updates such as address, beneficiary, and transfers.

Provide documentation and scheduling support for meetings.

Escalate complex issues to Financial Consultants or leadership.

Operational Excellence

Ensure compliance with Schwab policies and SOPs.

Keep accurate records of client interactions.

Support branch efficiency through phones, scheduling, and walk-ins.

Team Collaboration

Partner with consultants and leadership to deliver a coordinated client experience.

Share client insights to support relationships.

Contribute to a positive, client-first culture


Compensation/Salary: up to $80k (possible flex., based on experience) + annual bonus +benefits

Required Skills & Experience

• 1+ years of Client service or administrative experience, ideally financial services
• Strong attention to detail; ability to follow procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using CRM tools (Salesforce) and operational platforms.
• Experience working independently and effectively as part of a team, while handling multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously
• Accountable and dependable.
• Adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in Financial Services/Wealth Management and/or closely related industry
• Completion of the SIE (Securities Industry Essentials) exam, or willingness to obtain within first year (branch supported).
• Organized and compliance focused.
• Proactive problem solver.
