Job Description
This role supports Senior Product Managers within the U.S. Business Banking segment at our global banking client. Work will include strategic analytics to understand business performance trends and competitive analysis. They will partner with the modeling team to complete model validation and optimize how the Bank ingests FIS QualiFile score data. They will be focusing on Consumer Checking (consumer checking products to acquire new customers and set up incentives to attract primary customers). They will be doing competitive analysis to see how the bank is positioned and remediation to ensure everything is running well. A large part of this role will deal with data – acquiring the data, interpreting it, and presenting the data to various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
• Conducting strategic analytics to assess business performance and competitive positioning
• Leading model validation processes in partnership with the modeling team
• Optimizing ingestion and analysis of FIS QualiFile score data
• Collaborating with compliance and other teams on remediation efforts
• Performing large-scale analysis focused on consumer checking products
• Supporting customer acquisition strategies and incentive design
• Delivering insights on key business drivers through BI reporting
• Partnering with model validation teams to ensure accurate data delivery

Required Skills & Experience
• 2–5 years of experience in a strategic analytics role
• Strong strategic and analytical skills
• Intermediate Excel proficiency (formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, graphs)
• Banking industry experience (deposits, lending, credit card, investments highly preferred)
• Proven ability to lead and manage projects
• Experience translating strategic analysis into executive-level presentations
• KPI reporting: ability to graph data, build PowerPoint decks, and write commentary
• Customer Change Management experience
• Example: executing backend updates for product/fee changes, validating website links and system fields, and ensuring proper disclosure updates
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• BI reporting experience
• Based in Chicago

• Experience collaborating with marketing teams
