Job Description
IAM Architect will serve as a key technical resource in our client's Global Cyber and Information Security (GCIS) organization. Responsible for defining an identity and access management methodology and standard aligned to secure and verified practices. Ensure recommendations enable zero trust methodology through a globally consistent experience. Collaborate with Information Security, IT & Infrastructure, and Business teams globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define IAM architectural standards, models, design patterns, and technical specifications
- Assess and improve global identity solutions
- Assist in configuring zero trust patterns across the global domain
- Consult with project teams to ensure adherence to security protocols
- Design solutions balancing business and security requirements
- Identify risks and propose safer identity management alternatives
- Participate in technology evaluations and provide analysis
- Collaborate with GCIS IAM stakeholders
- Partner with infrastructure, network, application, and business teams
- Support compliance partners with governance activities
- Build IAM architectural/solution designs for SaaS and custom applications
- Provide periodic security architecture reviews
- Participate in IAM governance board

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 3+ years of cybersecurity experience
- Minimum 1+ years of experience reviewing detailed solution architectures utilizing IAM solutions
- Experience with IAM services, methodologies and patterns for custom and SaaS solutions
- 1+ years of experience with IAM tools (PING, ForgeRock, OKTA)
- Strong knowledge of MFA, biometrics, workflows, and cloud/on-prem support
- Hands-on experience with IAM licenses and vendor negotiations
- Experience in regulated and globally distributed environments
- Knowledge of TOGAF and security standards (NIST - CSF, ISO 27001, CSA CCM, PCI-DSS, GDPR)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Security
- Knowledge of IAM security monitoring tools and testing procedures
- Insurance and risk management domain knowledge
