These quality assurance analysts are testing emails. There is a lift and shift of 700 email templates to a new platform, and they need to ensure accuracy of data. They will also perform multi lingual testing to test in both English and Spanish. They will ensure that the data makes sense when switching platforms, checking to see if they are getting similar data populated into the new email platform. This will be 100% manual testing to check the look and feel of the emails, ensuring the language is correct.
As a QA Engineer specializing in email testing, you will be responsible for validating the functionality, design, and deliverability of emails created using the Braze tool. You will work closely with our development and marketing teams to ensure that our email campaigns meet the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Email Testing: Test and validate emails created in Braze using HTML, CSS, Handlebars, and Liquid.
Cross-Platform Compatibility: Ensure emails render correctly across various email clients and devices using tools like Email on Acid or Litmus.
Personalized Data Quality: Ensure the personalized content of the email appropriately matches the recipient's and that their consent and language preferences are honored.
Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to identify defects and ensure the quality of email campaigns.
Collaboration: Work closely with developers, designers, and marketers to understand requirements and provide feedback on email design and functionality.
Documentation: Document test results, report defects, and track issues to resolution.
Automation: Implement automated testing solutions where applicable to streamline the QA process.
Best Practices: Follow industry best practices and trends in email marketing and testing.
