Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Analyst (Chromatography) to join one of our testing and inspection clients in Lincolnshire, Illinois. This position will be focused on Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (LCMS) and is responsible for performing method development, validation, and routine analysis for Nitrosamine impurities in drug product test samples. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience with these analyses as well as exposure to analytical tools such as Sciex Triple Quad Mass Spec (with Analyst software), Xcalibur, or Thermo Watson LIMS. This is a 6 month contract to hire opportunity and requires to be on site 5 days a week.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of hands-on experience in discovery or GLP bioanalysis of small molecules
Proven expertise in developing and validating Nitrosamine testing methods
Strong background in extractables/leachables and elemental impurities analysis
Bachelors in Chemistry or a related scientific field

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with analytical tools such as Sciex Triple Quad Mass Spec (with Analyst software), Xcalibur, or Thermo Watson LIMS
Masters degree in Chemistry
