Job Description
A customer is seeking a fully remote Mainframe System Programmer- Automation to assist in moving a customer's Data Center.
- Design and develop automation solutions to enhance system performance and reduce manual intervention.
- Integrate tools and platforms to improve client experience and operational efficiency.
- Use agile methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Analyze existing tools to identify gaps and opportunities for proactive issue detection.
- Can pay $60-65/h

Required Skills & Experience
- BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of development experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for automation and client experience.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Programming: Python, C++, REXX, COBOL, Assembler
- Tools: Ansible, GitHub, Jira/Bugzilla
- Platforms: z/OS, MVS
- Familiarity with ITSM, ITOM, ITIL, DevOps, and Agile practices
