Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a qualified Plumbing Inspector to work to support an industry leading engineering consulting company in the greater Chicago area. This individual will be responsible for conducting all inspections related to plumbing for both commercial and residential properties. General responsibilities will include supporting this local municipality on plumbing inspections of commercial and residential properties to ensure building plans, specifications, and drawings comply with Illinois building codes and regulations. This position will be on a part-time on call basis and is expected to average about 15-20 hours a week.

Required Skills & Experience

Illinois licensed plumber / Illinois licensed plumbing inspector
2 3 years relevant experience either with Plumbing Inspections/Installations/Maintence
Municipal experience highly desirable
Thorough knowledge of State and local codes
Thorough knowledge of construction plan reading
Excellent oral and written communication skills
