One of Insight Globals research organization clients is seeking an innovative and technically skilled AI Developer/Engineer to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge AI/ML applications on AWS and Azure cloud platforms. This role focuses on building end-user applications that leverage Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems for chatbots, document reviews, and image analysis. Our ideal candidate combines solid AI/ML development experience with a user-centric mindset and a collaborative approach to solving business challenges. Experience with cloud-based AI tools, API integration, off-the-shelf AI packages, and Co-pilot tools is essential. Candidates with experience in advanced AI topics will be well-positioned for additional opportunities within the role.
Staying on current AI/ML trends
Implement AI/ML algorithms, models, and frameworks tailored to application requirements and data characteristics.
Design and manage robust data pipelines for AI/ML workloads, collaborating with data engineers and scientists.
Leverage pre-built AI tools and packages to create customized RAG applications, enhancing capabilities for chatbots, document analysis, and image recognition.
Perform testing and evaluation to ensure high model quality and performance, exploring different architectures and optimization methods.
Employ distributed training and cloud-based GPUs for scalable, efficient model training.
Deploy AI/ML models to production environments on AWS and Azure using services like SageMaker Inference and Azure Machine Learning Deployments.
Establish monitoring and automated retraining pipelines to ensure model accuracy and relevance over time.
Optimize deployments for scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency, collaborating with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines.
Integrate APIs and commercial AI tools to create functional, user-focused applications with an emphasis on productivity and ease of use.
Utilize Co-pilot and similar tools to accelerate development and enhance application functionality.
Provision and manage cloud resources (e.g., virtual machines, storage) for AI/ML workloads, following best practices for security, governance, and cost optimization.
o Generative AI: Experience with large language models (LLMs), transformer architectures (e.g., GPT, BERT), and fine-tuning for specific applications.
o Reinforcement Learning: Understanding of reinforcement learning algorithms and their application in decision-making systems.
o Graph Neural Networks: Knowledge of GNNs and their application in graph-based data (e.g., social networks, recommendation systems).
o AutoML: Experience using AutoML tools for model selection and hyperparameter tuning.
o Edge AI: Experience in deploying AI models on edge devices for applications requiring low latency and offline capability.
