Job Description

Must Haves:

* 5+ years of IT Citrix and Desktop Support for a large enterprise

* Working experience with Windows 10 & 11

* Proficient troubleshooting and installation of MS Office, Teams, and Outlook

* Proficient in engaging with end users on the installation, maintenance, configuration and integrity of operating and software systems

* Experience with Windows Server 2015-2022

* Experience resolving Citrix helpdesk tickets

* Experience with ServiceNow incidents and requests





Plusses:

* Background in helpdesk environment

* Airport experience

* Large enterprise experience

Required Skills & Experience

Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Citrix/Support Engineer for one of its largest airline clients in Chicago. This Sr. Citrix/Support Engineer will be assisting with the virtual desktop infrastructure of our client. The ideal candidate will be proficient in supporting both physical and virtual end-user desktop environments through innovative solutions. Demonstrates a strong drive to take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution. Possesses a keen awareness of emerging technologies that align within our organization. Proactively identifies opportunities for streamlining processes, adding value, and elevating the overall end-user experience. This position requires being present at our corporate downtown Chicago office 2 days per week.

* Analyze the experiences of a user and implement solutions that consistently improve user experience

* Migrating users to new platforms

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Must be an adaptable self-starter and work with minimal supervision

* Must be able to juggle multiple projects and organize time effectively

* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

* Must keep up to date on current technology trends
