Job Description

Position Overview:
We are looking for a proficient Business Analyst to support a critical financial systems integration project. This role will focus on integrating the General Ledger (GL) from Workday Financials to SAP S/4HANA while maintaining core Accounts Payable (AP) functions within Workday Financials. Additionally, the Business Analyst will support integration efforts with Adaptive Insights for financial planning and analysis (reporting) looking for a Workday reporting and data mapping analyst to map the two softwares together. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between systems, ensuring seamless functionality and accurate data flow across platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Integration Analysis: Analyze and document business requirements for integrating the General Ledger (GL) from Workday Financials with SAP S/4HANA. Ensure that core AP capabilities remain intact in Workday Financials while aligning with the new GL structure.
System Coordination: Collaborate with IT, finance, and other departments to ensure smooth integration of financial data between Workday Financials and SAP S/4HANA. Work with integration teams to manage data flows, mapping, and transformation processes.
Adaptive Insights Integration: Support the integration of SAP S/4HANA with Adaptive Insights. Ensure accurate data synchronization for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Process Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of integration processes, data flows, and system configurations. Develop process maps and workflow diagrams to support system integration.
Data Migration and Validation: Oversee data migration from Workday Financials to SAP S/4HANA, focusing on GL data accuracy and integrity. Validate data post-migration to ensure consistency and correctness.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test cases for integration scenarios. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that all systems function correctly and meet business requirements.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on changes resulting from the integration. Develop user guides and training materials for SAP S/4HANA, Workday Financials, and Adaptive Insights.
Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system integration, data discrepancies, and process inefficiencies. Work with technical teams to implement solutions and improvements.
Project Management: Contribute to project planning and execution. Track progress against milestones, manage deliverables, and provide regular updates to project stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements. Recommend best practices and implement improvements to streamline financial operations.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMP) is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on financial systems integration. Experience with Workday Financials, SAP S/4HANA, and Adaptive Insights is highly desirable.
Skills:
o Strong understanding of financial processes, including General Ledger and Accounts Payable.
o Experience with system integrations and data migration.
o Proficiency in financial planning and analysis tools, particularly Adaptive Insights.
o Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
o Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies.
Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and Workday Financials. Experience with Adaptive Insights is an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
