Job Description

As an Experience Design Lead Strategist, you should have experience in enterprise wide UX strategy methodologies and a foundation in the overall user-centered design process. Expert communication and story-telling skills with the ability to get buy-in on your ideas within a large organization. Proficiency at identifying the middle point where business goals harmoniously meet user engagement and excitement. You will lead the overall strategic plan for the program in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. Collaborate with experience design teammates, project stakeholders, technology partners, and executive leadership to identify requirements, set design goals, study users, and craft solutions that translate business and user needs into highly engaging experiences. Promote value innovation through proactive designs that reflect, maintain, and contribute to our design principles and practices. Be the primary escalation point of contact for all projects within the program. Meet regularly with the program group to ensure adherence to the design process, open dialog, peer support, project fluidity & continuity. Communicate project updates to the portfolio strategy manager and senior leadership. Work cross functionally with leads who support other programs, identifying opportunity for reusability, consistency, connection, and proactive design. Support the portfolio strategy manager in visualization exercises and workshops.

Required Skills
Youre a person who has 5+ years of experience in a UX Generalist or related role. Proven experience solving complex problems and designing world-class experiences for large-scale enterprise programs. Extensive understanding of overall UX process and software development methodologies, including Agile. A high degree of creativity, empathy, passion, and problem-solving ability. Proficiency with tools like Mural, Axure, Sketch, InVision, and alike. Vigor and passion about understanding the target audience.

Desired Skills
Bachelors, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience, or a design-related field, or equivalent education and related training / certification. Experience planning, facilitating, and participating in design/strategy mapping workshops. Financial or similar enterprise experience.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5-7 years of UX design/generalist experience (following UX processes, not just visual design)
- Strong understanding of when to use research, strategy behind vision/roadmap, understand design systems
- Proficient with Figma
- Jira experience (tracking workflows, not just being able to read stories but have worked in Jira, can articulate acceptance criteria as needed)
- Invision and Sketch (team is currently using but moving off by EOY)
- Out of the box thinking
- Working in a fast-paced environment, turning around deliverables quickly but with thoughtful, holistic consideration

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience supporting UX in Audit, Audit technology, Corporate Audit, Credit Review, Risk Assessments will put a candidate at the top of the list
- Financial experience is a huge plus
